Unbelievable Animals That Saved Other Animals

Most animals will defend their territory and their offspring to the death. Even if this means facing a fearsome predator.

Sometimes though, a little unexpected help is always welcome and what seemed like a hopeless situation suddenly changes at the sound of a beat.
Join us while we countdown 15 unbelievable animals that saved other animals.

BABOONS SAVE IMPALA FROM LEOPARD

In the riverbed there was a herd of impala drinking at a pool of water and grazing and nearby was a troop of baboons as well, suddenly it was like a bomb exploded between the impalas.

This is the moment a hungry leopard went in for the kill by hanging on to an impala’s neck – only for the lucky prey to escape its clutches and spring away to safety.

The big cat was seen gripping its paws and front legs around the impala ram in Kruger National Park, South Africa.

The leopard looked to have secured its meal, holding the animal down on the ground with the help of its powerful jaws.

But when a nearby group of baboons caused a commotion, the impala took its chance and jumped up before bounding away.

RABBIT SCARES OFF SNAKE A

mother rabbit defending her babies from a snake was captured in this adrenaline-filled video.

Children are heard encouraging the brave rabbit in the background, “Go, Mr. Bunny! Kill that snake!” while another shouts “Bite it! Bite it!” The location of the attack is unknown. The snake was a nonvenomous black rat snake.

Rabbits are prey animals, so mothers avoid spending their time close to their young other than to nurse them.

A nest of baby rabbits without a mother close by does not mean that they are orphans! If you want to make sure the bunnies are OK, check them in the morning and see if they are warm and round bellied.

This means that they are being cared for and the mother is probably alive.

It is a myth that rabbits will abandon their babies once humans have touched them.

And this mama rabbit was their just on time to protect her babies. The snake had the rabbit in a hold, but then the rabbit managed to get out of it and began attacking the snake until the snake gave up and slithered away.

The rabbit was relentless and pursued the snake continuously.
