Most Dangerous Dinosaurs In The World!

We are all fascinated by dinosaurs and dinosaur movies have never been more popular. Have you ever wondered which dinosaurs ruled the planet? Well, it’s time you found out because today we countdown 15 most dangerous dinosaurs in the world.

T-REX Tyrannosaurus rex, or “Tyrant Lizard”, one of the largest dinosaurs to have walked the earth, lived 70 million years ago in what is now North America.

Weighing in at 7.5 tons, standing 15-20 feet tall and 40 feet long, T-Rex was a fierce predator! This dinosaur’s massive jaws were lined with 50-60 serrated teeth, some measuring 9 inches long.

Preserved bone and muscle fragments in T-Rex feces show that it took big, bone-crushing bites consuming up to 500 lbs.

of meat in one bite! Its 4-foot-long jaws were big enough to swallow an adult human! That’s one fella you don’t want to meet during a stroll in the forest.

SINOSAUROPTERY Sinosauroptery lived during the early Cretaceous period about 121 to 135 million years ago.

Its name translates into either “First Chinese Dragon Feather” or “China Dragon Bird.” One of the main features of this dinosaur is the fact it had feathers.

It had a very basic feather called a proto feather, however, that doesn’t mean it was a bird. It was a small therapod dinosaur.

The feathers were only used as insulation to keep it warm and not for flying. It was 4 feet long, 11.5 inches tall at the hips and weighed about 5.5 pounds. It was a dinosaur that walked on 2 legs and most likely could run at very fast speeds.

Some scientists have estimated that this dinosaur was able to run about 40 miles per hour.

That’s as fast as a greyhound! It is believed that Sinosauroptery was a carnivore and lived off a diet of small lizards and mammals.

In fact, this dinosaur was the only dinosaur discovered to have had a mammal in its stomach. Unfortunately, paleontologists couldn’t identify just what kind of mammal it had eaten.
